Aem Cold air intakes come with a One-piece, four-layer, cotton-gauze AEM air filter eases installation and features an exclusive air horn design that improves performance. Every AEM air induction system is individually tuned in length and diameter, and features the highest standards of construction. AEM High Performance Brake Pads are specifically engineered for high-performance braking. AEM brake pads are manufactured in conjunction with O.E. Japanese brake manufacturer Nissin, and utilize a unique ceramic-Kevlar fiber compound to provide a higher coefficient of friction that resists fading and reduces stopping distances. AEM pulleys increase power by reducing the drag on the engine caused by factory accessory pulleys. AEM pulleys reduce rotating weight and are slightly oversized to maximize efficiency, which nets more horsepower at the wheels. Comprehensive installation instructions, replacement belts and AEM decals are included in every AEM Pulley kit. AEM’s patented air bypass valve virtually eliminates the chance of hydro-lock in the event the filter of your AEM Cold Air induction system becomes submerged in water. The valve installs along the upper portion of the inlet pipe and shuts down induction at the filter when it becomes submerged, rerouting air through its external diaphragm to keep water out and air flowing in. |
